Making homemade Limoncello – part 1

Join me as I go through the process oh making homemade Limoncello.

Step 1:
– Get 10 large lemons
– Was the lemons well
– Peel each lemon, but remove only the yellow skin, as the white will produce bitter results
– Put the rind in a bottle, and cover with 750 ml. Everclear grain alcohol
– The recipe calls for letting the mixture sit for 10 days, but I have heard that you can tell when the rinds turn white that they are done, and I have also heard that letting them sit for a month is best.
