Top Chef Michael Voltaggio’s restaurant grossly exceeds my expectations!

Having watched Michael Voltaggio take the Top Chef title on Food Network, I was very eager to try his food, but to my surprise, when my friend Dawn and I walked in, we were excited to see him in the open kitchen cooking the night that I dined at Ink, Los Angeles. What really impressed me, is that our waiter told me that he is there six nights a week, not taking advantage of his Top Chef fame, but actively working the line and ensuring that every dish that leaves the kitchen meets his level of quality.  We tried a lot of dishes…all of which I’d order again.  Especially the corn (with house made doritos, nori, green onion).
